Looking for an alternative Internet search engine that can deliver better than Google?
Probably not. But if you are, here comes a new kid on the block.
A search for "fun" for example, its getting me back at the main page with a message “ Your search is too short.”
I query "top Malaysia blogs” resulted in pages about "jellyfish."
At the title bar of my IE, I can see it says “Mystery Google – You get what the person before you searched for”. Hmm.. now I understand why the results is different from what you're searching for. It doesn’t search for what you entered, but instead you get what the person before you search for – sounds like fun? Give it a try yourself at Mysterygoogle
There are few consistent results though. Type in the query "Mystery Google" and the reply is "That is the site you are on."
Besides of the different theme it uses, it has a big banner at the bottom of the screen which says “Advertisers, Publishers – Get more traffic, earn more ad revenue” and a side bar reserve for serving ads just like Google search.
